Director, Digital Assets FinOps
Location: Remote in any U.S. Time Zone
Compensation: $170,000 - $218,000 base + bonus + RSUs

We’re partnering with a high-growth, publicly traded fintech operating at the intersection of blockchain, lending, and digital assets to identify a Director, Digital Assets FinOps.
This is an opportunity for a finance and treasury leader with hands-on crypto experience to help build and scale the financial operations that support a rapidly evolving digital asset ecosystem. You’ll work across treasury, financial operations, payments, and technology to strengthen how funds move, liquidity is managed, and financial processes scale.

Responsibilities:
- Own and optimize digital asset financial operations, including fund flows, money movement, settlement processes, and liquidity management.
- Build and improve treasury and financial operating processes across digital assets and traditional financial systems.
- Strengthen operational controls, reconciliations, reporting, and processes supporting digital asset transactions and financial flows.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Treasury, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to improve financial infrastructure and operational efficiency.
- Identify gaps in existing processes, develop practical solutions, and implement scalable workflows in a fast-growing environment.
- Support the evolution of financial operations as the business expands its blockchain-enabled products and capital markets capabilities.
- Bring structure, ownership, and sound financial judgment to complex, evolving operational challenges.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in cryptocurrency or digital assets—this is a must-have.
- Experience in Treasury, Financial Operations, FinOps, Payments, or a related finance function within a crypto-native or digital asset business.
- Strong understanding of money movement, fund flows, liquidity, settlement, and the operational mechanics behind digital asset transactions.
- Experience building, improving, or scaling financial processes and controls in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to operate at both the strategic and execution level; this is a hands-on individual contributor role, not a people-management position.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with finance and technical teams.
- A proactive, resourceful mindset and comfort navigating ambiguity, solving problems independently, and driving initiatives forward.
