We’re working with a fast-growing digital marketing agency that is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join its expanding team. The company specialises in helping clients grow through SEO, paid search, websites, technology and digital marketing. With around 50 clients and only two years into its journey, this is an opportunity to join at an exciting stage of growth.
You’ll work closely with an experienced SEO Manager and play a practical role in delivering digital marketing activity across multiple client accounts. It’s a great opportunity for someone starting their career who wants to learn through real work, build valuable technical skills and gradually take on more responsibility.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll build, update and optimise pages across a range of client websites. You’ll work across platforms including WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and some custom-built sites.
You’ll write and publish SEO content from clear briefs, using AI tools to support research and content creation. You’ll make practical on-page SEO improvements, including meta titles and descriptions, headings, internal links, schema and page structure.
You’ll also help resolve website issues such as broken links, redirects, mobile layout problems and website form issues. Alongside this, you’ll support local SEO activity, including setting up and maintaining Google Business Profiles.
You’ll manage your workload through ClickUp, keep tasks organised and complete work within agreed timescales. As your knowledge develops, you’ll take greater ownership of your work and contribute more across client accounts.
What experience you’ll need to apply
- Genuine interest in digital marketing, SEO and websites.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and an organised approach.
- Ability to learn new platforms and tools.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness to ask questions and learn from feedback.
- Ability to follow a brief while using your own judgement.
- Interest in how websites and search engines work.
- Experience with WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, SEO tools or Google Business Profiles would be useful, but is not essential.
- A recent degree, digital marketing course or relevant self-directed experience could all be relevant.
What you’ll get in return for your experience
You’ll receive a £26,000 starting salary and the flexibility of fully remote working anywhere in the UK. You’ll gain hands-on experience across SEO, websites, content and digital marketing, working on real client websites from the outset.
You’ll have guidance from an experienced SEO Manager, exposure to a wide range of digital platforms and the opportunity to develop your skills as the business grows. You’ll also get exposure to AI and emerging digital marketing technology, with the chance to make a genuine contribution rather than being another small part of a large organisation.
