About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data Science team. In this role, you will work on solving complex problems related to our digital advertising platform, directly collaborating with Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Engineering teams, and our CTO/Co-Founder. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and building scalable, real-time data pipelines, developing and implementing custom machine learning algorithms, and optimizing ad performance through predictive modeling. You will work with large-scale databases processing millions of requests per second, providing ample opportunities to tackle challenging data-driven problems. This is a remote-first position, open to candidates based in the UK, Ireland, or Germany, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to a pioneering organization from anywhere in these regions. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science with a high GPA from a reputable university. You should possess experience in implementing probabilistic or machine learning algorithms, along with a deep understanding of algorithm and software design, concurrency, and data structures. The ability to translate ambiguous tasks into actionable steps is essential, as is experience working in low-latency environments. Familiarity with microservice architectures that support training, inference, and monitoring of thousands of ML models concurrently is highly desirable. Strong collaborative skills and a passion for continuous learning and innovation are also important qualities for success in this role. Responsibilities As a Machine Learning Engineer at StackAdapt, your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing modular and scalable real-time data pipelines capable of handling large datasets efficiently.
• Understanding and implementing custom machine learning algorithms optimized for low latency environments.
• Developing and maintaining microservice architectures that facilitate training, inference, and monitoring of thousands of ML models simultaneously.
• Collaborating closely with Data Scientists, Engineers, and Product teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance ad targeting and optimization.
• Continuously improving existing models and pipelines based on performance metrics and evolving business needs.
• Contributing to the development of best practices for scalable data processing and machine learning deployment.
