Distributors, manufacturers and equipment suppliers usually come to us when their order, stock and invoicing systems no longer agree with each other. A warehouse ships against yesterday's stock figure, or someone in finance corrects invoices by hand every Friday. We're hiring an Inside Sales Representative to find more of those companies and start the conversation.
You won't be selling a boxed product. Your calls find out how often the problem happens, which systems are involved and who would decide to fix it, then hand the good ones to the engineers who scope our projects. You join those calls too.
What you'll work on:
- Calling and emailing operations and finance leads at companies on our target list
- Asking how an order moves from sales to the warehouse to the invoice, and where it stalls
- Booking discovery calls for our engineers
- CRM notes: every contact, every next step
- Short follow-ups with examples of similar projects
- One to two years in inside sales, sales development or account support, B2B if possible
- HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive
- Being able to explain a technical problem without jargon
- Selling software, ERP or logistics services
- Knowing what a purchase order, a packing slip and a credit memo are
- Comfort with cold calls
