Role Description The Corporate Finance Consultant will support clients in evaluating and executing M&A and other strategic corporate finance initiatives. This is a remote, contract role. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and reviewing financial models, performing valuation analyses, and conducting financial and commercial due diligence on target companies. The consultant will prepare client-ready presentations, reports, and investment memos, clearly summarizing findings and recommendations. The role also involves supporting business planning, scenario analysis, and capital allocation decisions, as well as collaborating with internal and client teams to structure transactions and identify value-creation opportunities. The consultant is expected to manage multiple engagements simultaneously, meet agreed deadlines, and maintain high-quality deliverables. Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, including corporate finance principles, valuation methods, and M&A concepts.
- Proficiency in Financial Modeling and advanced spreadsheet skills to build, analyze, and stress-test complex models.
- Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and translate insights into clear recommendations.
- Experience in Business Planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario or sensitivity analysis.
- Hands-on experience in Due Diligence (financial and, ideally, commercial), including data review, risk identification, and report preparation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) or professional certifications (CFA, CPA, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-specialist stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities across projects.
- Prior experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or management consulting is highly beneficial.
