Product Designer
Job Description
Posted on: April 9, 2026
We’re here to build products that genuinely matter. Products that solve real problems, improve people’s lives, and stand the test of time. Here at AnywhereWorks, we care deeply about usefulness, clarity, and quality, and we believe great design is central to all three.
About the Role
Product designers are not just executors, they are partners in shaping the product. You’ll be involved early, trusted with real problems, and encouraged to explore, challenge assumptions, and continuously improve both the product and yourself.
This role requires strong UX thinking (flows, structure, usability) paired with high-quality UI execution. You should have a strong sense of what good design looks like, why it works, and how to apply it within real-world constraints.
What you'll doUX / Product Design
- Design end-to-end user journeys and flows across the applications, web, desktop, mobile
- Break down complex problems into simple, intuitive experiences
- Create wireframes, user flows, and interaction models to explore and validate ideas
- Think deeply about usability, accessibility, and clarity at every step of the experience
- Consider real-world usage: first-time users, edge cases, error states, and empty states
- Use feedback, research, and data (where available) to iterate and improve designs
UI / Visual Design
- Design high-fidelity interfaces that are clean, consistent, and visually refined
- Apply strong visual hierarchy, spacing, typography, and color to improve usability
- Create and maintain reusable UI components and patterns
- Ensure designs align with platform conventions (iOS / Android / responsive)
- Deliver production-ready designs that engineers can easily implement
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with product, brand and development managers to shape requirements and scope
- Partner with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, clear, and well executed
- Provide design guidance during development and QA to maintain quality
- Contribute to and evolve our design system as the product grows
What we're looking for
- First and foremost > a great eye . . . and ideally:
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer shipping production apps across web, desktop, iOS, and Android (responsive web + native mobile)
- Advanced mastery of Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Modes, interactive prototypes, FigJam, and advanced branching/versioning workflows)
- Strong experience building, evolving, and maintaining design systems at scale (component libraries, token systems, documentation, and handoff processes)
- Deep knowledge of modern design tooling and workflows: Storybook, Zeplin/Luna, Principle or Framer for advanced prototyping, and collaborative tools like Miro/Mural
- Solid understanding of platform conventions and responsive systems, including: Apple Human Interface Guidelines (iOS/macOS); Google Material Design 3; Modern web standards (CSS Grid/Flexbox, mobile-first responsive patterns)
- Strong bonus / highly preferred: hands-on experience with front-end code — React, TailwindCSS, HTML/CSS, or any modern component-based framework. This lets you prototype in code, participate in design-engineering syncs, and reduce handoff friction dramatically.
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA/AAA) and how to design for them from day one
- Portfolio that clearly shows shipped, measurable products (not just mockups or marketing concepts) with before/after case studies
