Position Overview Appalachian Children's Home is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our administrative team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining information in our databases and records. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and capable of handling large volumes of information while maintaining high accuracy.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter and update data into company databases and internal systems

Review and verify information for accuracy and completeness

Maintain organized digital and physical records

Identify and correct data discrepancies or errors

Assist with generating reports and compiling data for program and administrative purposes

Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive client and organizational information

Communicate with team members to resolve data-related issues

Follow organizational policies and procedures for data management and recordkeeping
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous experience in data entry, administrative, or clerical roles preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or similar software

Excellent organizational and time management skills
