As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an ambitious and hardworking individual to join us as a Trainee Mortgage & Protection Adviser.
The Opportunity
Have you recently completed your CeMAP qualifications but are finding it difficult to secure your first opportunity in the mortgage industry?
We understand that getting started can be challenging, particularly when many employers require previous experience.
We’re offering an opportunity to someone who has the qualifications, ambition and determination to succeed, even if they have no previous industry experience.
This is a full-time, self-employed position, ideally suited to someone based in the North West who is ready to invest in their future and build a successful career in financial services.
We’ll provide comprehensive training, mentoring and ongoing support to help you develop your knowledge, confidence and skills, including support towards achieving Competent Adviser Status (CAS).
In return, we’re looking for someone who is equally committed to their own development and success.
Key Responsibilities
As you progress through your training and development, your responsibilities will include:
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
* Understanding clients’ mortgage and protection needs.
* Researching suitable mortgage and protection solutions.
* Guiding clients through the mortgage process.
* Developing your knowledge of lender criteria, products and industry regulations.
* Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Managing your workload effectively and delivering excellent customer service.
* Proactively developing relationships and identifying opportunities to grow your business.
All regulated advice will be undertaken subject to the appropriate training, supervision and authorisation requirements.

* Fully CeMAP qualified.

* Confident working independently and managing your own workload.

* A genuine desire to learn, develop and build a successful career.
* Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
* Confident with technology, with strong computer skills and the ability to learn and use CRM systems, Microsoft Office and other digital platforms effectively.
* Proactive in generating new business, with the confidence, drive and determination to identify opportunities, build relationships and develop their own client base.
* Comfortable using social media for business development, with a willingness to build their professional presence, promote their services and actively engage with potential clients.
* Based in the North West of England.
Previous mortgage industry experience is not required.
