Overview

Blue Gems ABA is looking for a creative, hands-on Content & Social Media Lead to generate, create, edit, and oversee high-quality content across our social media channels, website, podcast, and broader marketing initiatives, using strong video production skills and AI tools to move faster, stay current, and raise the quality of our content.

This role is ideal for someone who can take an idea and turn it into polished, engaging content — especially short-form video that captures attention, tells a story, and has the potential to reach a wide audience. The right candidate will combine creative instincts, hands-on editing skills, social media fluency, and the ability to manage content from concept through publishing.

Key Responsibilities

·   Generate, create, edit, and oversee content across social media, web, video, podcast, and other marketing channels.

·   Create high-quality short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms.

·   Develop creative concepts, scripts, interview questions, storyboards, hooks, and recurring content series.

·   Film and direct employees, leaders, clinicians, events, and company initiatives in a polished but authentic way.

·   Edit content directly and manage outside editors, videographers, designers, and creative partners when needed.

·   Use AI tools to accelerate ideation, scripting, editing, research, production, repurposing, and overall content workflow.

·   Manage the social media content calendar and ensure consistent, engaging publishing across platforms.

·   Build and engage online communities through meaningful conversations, audience interaction, and relevant community participation.

·   Identify trends, formats, hooks, and storytelling approaches that can increase reach, engagement, and shareability.

·   Oversee podcast planning, recording, production, and repurposing into short-form and social content.

·   Repurpose long-form content into short videos, social posts, website content, email content, and other assets.

·   Work closely with graphic designers, performance marketing, recruiting, clinical leadership, and other marketing team members.

·   Track content performance and continuously improve based on views, engagement, audience growth, and business impact.

·   Occasionally travel to Blue Gems locations, events, and video shoots.

Qualifications

·   Strong experience creating and producing social media and digital content.

·   Demonstrated experience with short-form video, including filming, directing, editing, and storytelling.

·   Strong editing skills and comfort working with video editing and content-production tools.

·   A strong portfolio showing engaging, polished, high-performing content.

·   Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and current social media trends.

·   Strong creative instincts and an understanding of what makes content engaging, shareable, and potentially viral.

·   Experience managing a brand’s social presence and content calendar.

·   Comfortable interviewing and directing people who may not have experience on camera.

·   Comfortable using AI tools to improve the speed, quality, and consistency of content creation.

·   Familiarity with building communities, engaging audiences, and turning followers into active brand advocates is helpful.

·   Strong project-management skills and the ability to manage multiple productions at the same time.

·   Podcast production experience is a plus.

·   Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, education, or a multi-location organization is helpful but not required.

  • This is not solely a social media management role. It is a creative content and production role for someone who knows how to build a brand through strong ideas, authentic storytelling, community engagement, AI-enabled workflows, and outstanding video content.
