Accounts Payable Senior Accountant

Your career as an AP Senior Accountant at Booksy will give you the opportunity to take full ownership of our international accounts payable operations, ensuring our vendor partners are supported with the same "People First" touch we give our customers. Reporting to the AP Team Lead, you'll lead the way in managing complex invoice processing and payment runs across our European landscape. You won't just be "processing" - you'll be a key contributor to building the best practices that help us scale-up globally. You'll be excited by the prospect of working cross-functionally with Procurement, Treasury, and Tax teams to ensure smooth communication and financial accuracy. Because you have a keen eye for identifying discrepancies and efficiency gains, you'll play a vital role in our month-end and year-end close activities. RequirementsEssentially, to ensure you succeed in this role, you're going to need:

• 5+ years of experience and provable, deep expertise in AP accounting, specifically focusing on international transactions and complex vendor inquiries
• A strong understanding of accounting principles (local/US GAAP) and local tax regulations regarding VAT and WHT
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (think pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) and experience with ERP systems like Business Central or Payhawk
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level or higher) to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders
• A track record of contributing to process improvements and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
