Press Coordinator

Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Press Coordinator to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of internship experience in consumer products PR or integrated marketing. Key Responsibilities

• Work within the framework of a supportive team that will depend upon you in executing fundamental account tasks, including

• Media and influencer list building
• Entering and confirming sample requests
• Calendar invites and call notes
• Coverage monitoring
• Inbound influencer and media inquiries
• Pitching local, regional and national media
• Research projects

• Thoughtful about communications internally and externally
• Builds and maintains strong media relationships with print, online, and broadcast outlets
• Builds strong relationships with key influencers across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube to secure earned coverage
• Enjoys an ever-evolving, fast-paced job, switching gears when needed and prioritizing their workload
• Familiarity with Cision, Canva, Coverage Book, Muck Rack, TV Eyes, Creator IQ, or comparable platforms

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of internship experience in the consumer good PR industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for staying ahead of trends
• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
• Familiarity with Cision, Muck Rack, TV Eyes or comparable platforms.

Salary Depends on experience: $40,000-$48,000 Benefits Eligible For:
