Position Summary
The VP of Sales will lead all revenue-generating efforts, manage a team across sales, business development, and customer success, and play a critical role in aligning sales with marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep sales process expertise, and a proven ability to scale teams and grow revenue in a cloud or ERP-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a national sales team including Account Executives, Business Development, and Customer Success.
- Own all revenue responsibilities and drive top-line growth.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing sales talent.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Partner with Marketing to drive lead generation and pipeline growth.
- Analyze market trends and sales performance to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Report on sales metrics and KPIs to senior leadership.
- Champion process optimization and technology adoption within the sales org.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
- Foster a team culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Bachelor's degree (MBA or equivalent preferred).
- Proven success in senior sales leadership, preferably in SaaS, ERP, or B2B technology services.
- Track record of exceeding revenue goals and scaling sales teams nationally.
- Deep understanding of consultative selling, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Strong communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and performance analytics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
