Social Media Coordinator (Remote)

Location: TelecommuteJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $28 - 32 per hour We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to support a lean, high-impact team managing seven different accounts. In this role, you will report directly to the Director and collaborate with three individual contributors to keep the content engine running smoothly. The primary focus of this position is Content Curation & Asset Sourcing, ensuring the right content assets are identified, organized, and delivered efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a background in nonprofit work. This is a part-time, 100% remote role. You can expect between 15-20 hours per week (EST). Responsibilities:

• Content Curation: High-volume sourcing of archive photos, stock imagery, and relevant audio clips to align with campaign goals.
• Execution & Posting: Managing the daily workflow and scheduling for 7 distinct accounts.
• Light Design: Using established Canva templates to create cohesive, brand-aligned graphics.
• Video Editing: Performing light "stitching" and basic edits for short-form video (Reels/TikTok).
• Copywriting: Crafting engaging, mission-aligned captions for various platforms.
• Platform Management: Utilizing Sprout Social (a major plus) to schedule and monitor posts.

Qualifications:

• Mission-Driven: Experience working with non-profits or purpose-led organizations is highly preferred. You understand how to communicate impact.
• A Curator at Heart: You have a sharp eye for visual storytelling and know where to find the "hidden gems" in photo archives.
• Detail-Oriented: You can juggle 7 accounts without breaking a sweat or losing track of the schedule.
• Collaborative: You enjoy being the "missing piece" of a small, 3-person production team.
