Job Title: Finance Director – EU Region

Location: Spain (Remote, with occasional travel)

Known for innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth, the company continues to expand its global footprint and strengthen its financial management capabilities. As part of this continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Finance Director to oversee financial operations across the European region.

Position Summary

The Finance Director will be based in Spain (remote work possible) and will be responsible for leading and managing the financial strategy, operations, and reporting across the EU region. This role will partner closely with regional and global leadership, providing financial insight and control to support business decisions and long-term growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial leadership experience from large multinational or automotive-related companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all finance functions in the EU region, including accounting, reporting, planning, forecasting, tax, treasury, and compliance
• Develop and implement regional financial strategies aligned with global objectives
• Partner with regional business leaders to support strategic decisions, commercial initiatives, and performance optimization
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and local regulations
• Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accountability and alignment with company goals
• Oversee internal controls, audit processes, and risk management initiatives
• Lead and mentor the regional finance team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
• Act as a key liaison with corporate finance and global HQ on regional performance and planning

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sectors
• Strong knowledge of European financial regulations, tax systems, and compliance frameworks
• Proven track record in regional or multi-country financial management, ideally in a multinational environment
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced financial tools
• Strategic mindset with hands-on capability and strong business acumen
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English; Spanish or other European languages are a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA, CPA, or equivalent qualifications preferred
