Position: Private Equity Associate

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $6-300/hr

Location: Remote

Commitment: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week

Role Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate investment opportunities through in-depth market research and analysis
• Build, maintain, and refine detailed financial models to support investment decisions
• Participate in comprehensive due diligence, including industry analysis, benchmarking, and risk assessment
• Prepare investment memoranda and present findings to internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to support deal execution and post-investment activities
• Monitor portfolio performance and produce concise updates with actionable recommendations
• Contribute to strategic decision-making by synthesizing financial and market insights

Requirements

• Strong experience in private equity and/or investment banking
• Strong experience building and analyzing comprehensive financial models
• Strong investment analysis, market research, and due diligence capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience supporting portfolio management activities
