About Cymph
Cymph is building the Incident Response Readiness Platform for security operations and incident response teams.
Our platform helps organisations understand their incident response readiness, identify gaps, improve response processes, and continuously strengthen their ability to respond to cyber incidents.
We're a remote-first startup with an international team, an evolving product, and growing market traction. We're entering an exciting phase focused on customer acquisition and go-to-market execution.
The Role
We're looking for a Founding Marketer to become our first dedicated marketing hire.
We've built the foundations of our go-to-market strategy. We're now looking for someone who can set the direction for what they own and execute against it to strengthen our market presence and help us turn interest into customer conversations and opportunities. You'll work directly with the founding team, bring your own ideas and recommendations to the table, and drive initiatives forward with real ownership and autonomy.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building, experimenting, and executing in an early-stage startup environment. This is not a management role, it's a builder role. We're not looking for someone to operate a machine someone else already built. We're looking for someone who wants to build one.
What You'll DoOwn and improve our website
- Improve website messaging, structure, and user journeys
- Create new pages tailored to key audiences, use cases, and industries
- Develop and maintain marketing resources, landing pages, and educational content
- Continuously improve website conversion and visitor engagement
Create content that builds credibility and supports growth
- Produce content that educates prospects and demonstrates industry expertise
- Turn founder knowledge and customer insights into articles, guides, reports, and social content
- Support awareness, pipeline generation, customer acquisition, and sales conversations through high-quality content
- Leverage AI tools and modern workflows to scale content production efficiently
Support customer acquisition efforts
- Develop sales enablement materials and customer-facing assets
- Collaborate with founders and external partners to support outbound initiatives
- Create resources that help prospects better understand our platform and value proposition
- Help capture and communicate early customer learnings, product narratives, and customer success stories as they emerge
Grow our market presence
- Manage and grow Cymph's presence across LinkedIn and other relevant channels
- Support founder-led marketing initiatives
- Identify opportunities to participate in relevant industry conversations and communities
- Help establish Cymph as a trusted voice in incident response
Build marketing operations and reporting foundations
- Manage marketing activities within our CRM (HubSpot)
- Track and report on key marketing and funnel metrics
- Help improve marketing processes, workflows, and documentation
- Provide insights and recommendations based on performance data

- 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing in SaaS, technology, or related industries
- Able to take ownership of marketing initiatives from planning through execution, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
- Ability to translate complex products and technical concepts into clear and compelling messages for different audiences
- Comfortable adopting AI tools as a core part of daily work to accelerate research, content creation, and execution
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Experience creating content across multiple formats and channels
- Experience managing websites and working with CMS platforms
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing analytics tools
- Basic design skills using modern design tools
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Excellent English communication skills
Preferred
- Prior experience in the cybersecurity industry or marketing to security, IT, or technical audiences
- Experience building marketing foundations from scratch at an early-stage startup
- Experience supporting or collaborating with founders on go-to-market and sales efforts in a B2B environment
- Familiarity with SEO/AEO, organic search, and content optimisation
