Forensic Accountant (Remote)

A boutique forensic accounting firm specializing in matrimonial and family law is seeking an experienced Forensic Accountant to support attorneys, courts, and high-net-worth clients in complex financial disputes.

What You'll Do

• Perform forensic analyses in family law and matrimonial matters
• Analyze personal and business financial records, including bank statements, general ledgers, tax returns, and QuickBooks files
• Trace income, assets, liabilities, and hidden or dissipated assets
• Prepare lifestyle, income, net worth, and cash flow analyses
• Assist with business valuations in divorce and shareholder disputes
• Prepare expert reports, schedules, and exhibits
• Support attorneys through discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial
• Manage workpapers and meet litigation deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of forensic accounting experience, including family law matters
• CPA, CFF, ABV, CVA, CFE, or MAFF a plus
• Litigation support experience across marital balance sheets, income available for support, separate vs. marital property tracing, and lifestyle analysis
• Ability to work fully remote and independently,
