I'm working with a global internet marketplace to find a Global Research Operations Coordinator for a 12-month contract. This is a genuinely high-visibility role, and my client is looking for someone who wants a full year of hands-on experience at the heart of how a major product organisation listens to its customers.

The Research Operations team sits at the centre of a core company value: an intense focus on the customer experience. You'd be joining a supportive, experienced group that moves fast, shares knowledge openly, and is trusted across the wider business.

The role

You'd be the direct link between the company and its customers, enabling researchers to engage with real users and gather the insights that shape everything from product features to business strategy. My client describes this as high-impact and high-visibility, and you'll work with cross-functional stakeholders to keep a customer-centric mindset driving innovation.

What you'd be doing day to day

• Building and deploying research outreach campaigns at scale, coordinating seamlessly without sacrificing quality.
• Collaborating with researchers to refine recruitment plans, sharpen messaging, and maximise participant engagement.
• Keeping study leads informed on recruitment progress, timelines, and any risks or blockers.
• Reassessing priorities daily to meet tight deadlines and balance competing study needs.
• Coordinating interview scheduling, managing incentive distribution, and keeping documentation clean and up to date across research tools.
• Owning problems end-to-end: when things are messy or undefined, finding a path forward and driving it to resolution, escalating when needed but proactively proposing solutions.
• Partnering with teams across the company and gaining real exposure to how different functions operate.

What my client is looking for

• A strong interest or academic focus in research coordination, participant recruitment, or project management.
• Someone comfortable in a fast-moving environment where things are still being built, who enjoys figuring things out rather than relying on established playbooks.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks or projects at once.
• Clear, effective written and verbal communication.
• A detail-oriented mindset paired with a bias for action; you follow through without being chased and stay effective when priorities shift.
• Proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting, whether academic, club, or work.
• Basic experience coordinating logistics and documentation, such as scheduling and managing data.
• Familiarity with outreach or data-tracking tools, like survey platforms, email tools, and spreadsheets.
• Additional languages are a bonus.
