Role Description
DNB Asset Management LLP is seeking a Financial Director to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities across the organization. This role will support business planning efforts, monitor financial performance, and help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
The Financial Director will work closely with finance, operations, compliance, and leadership teams to improve financial processes, support decision-making, and maintain strong financial controls. The position requires a detail-oriented professional with experience managing financial operations in a fast-paced and regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Review financial reports and monitor overall financial performance.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
- Prepare management reports, financial summaries, and performance analyses.
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
- Collaborate with accounting and operational teams to improve reporting accuracy.
- Assist with financial controls, audit support, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor key financial metrics and identify performance trends.
- Support process improvement initiatives and reporting enhancements.
- Participate in strategic planning and business performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 25+ years of experience in finance, financial management, FP&A, or related functions.
- 15+ years of leadership or team management experience.
- Experience within asset management, banking, financial services, or another regulated industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
- Experience interpreting financial statements and performance metrics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CFA, MBA, or other relevant professional certification.
- Experience supporting multi-entity financial operations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, business intelligence tools, and financial automation initiatives.
- Experience working with senior leadership on financial planning and performance management.
