About the role

Senior Growth Strategist @ Dominate Next | Fully Remote (UK) | £50,000 to £60,000 + Uncapped Performance Bonuses | Full-Time

About Dominate Next

Dominate Next is a performance marketing agency built for ambitious ecommerce brands ready to dominate their next stage of growth.

We specialise in Meta advertising, new customer acquisition and performance creative, helping established DTC brands scale sustainably and profitably.

Our sweet spot is seven-figure ecommerce brands looking to grow towards eight figures and beyond, with advertising budgets ranging from £1,000 per day to nearly £20,000 per day during peak periods.

We're selective about who we partner with. That means fewer clients, deeper relationships and work that genuinely impacts the businesses we support.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Senior Growth Strategist to take ownership of growth strategy and Meta advertising performance across a select portfolio of ecommerce brands. This isn't a conventional Paid Social Manager role.

We're looking for someone who understands that scaling an ecommerce business isn't simply about spending more on advertising. It's about understanding the business and it's P&L's, identifying growth opportunities, and knowing what levels to pull to help brands acquire more customers profitably outside of just more ads.

You'll work on some of our biggest accounts alongside new clients as we grow, taking ownership of strategy, performance and client relationships.

You'll also work closely with our creative team, supported by our in-house designers, video editors and landing page specialists.

This is a senior, hands-on role with genuine autonomy, commercial responsibility and the opportunity to help shape our growing performance team.

What You'll OwnCommercial Growth Strategy
  • Understand each brand's business model, P&L, product economics and growth objectives.
  • Analyse key commercial metrics including NCPA, MER, AOV, LTV, contribution margin and net profit.
  • Identify the biggest constraints preventing brands from scaling profitably.
  • Develop strategies to improve customer acquisition efficiency, revenue and profitability.
  • Evaluate product profitability, pricing, bundles, offers and promotional strategies.
  • Build forecasts around revenue, advertising spend, customer acquisition and profitability.
  • Prioritise the opportunities that will have the greatest commercial impact.

Meta Advertising & Performance
  • Own paid social strategy and execution across your assigned accounts.
  • Confidently manage and scale significant advertising budgets, including multi six-figure monthly spend.
  • Manage campaign execution, budgets, pacing, testing and optimisation.
  • Analyse performance through Meta Ads Manager, Shopify, Triple Whale, GA4 and other relevant platforms.
  • Understand attribution, incrementality and the relationship between advertising performance and wider business growth.
  • Diagnose underperformance, identify root causes and implement recovery strategies.
  • Make informed decisions around when to scale, maintain or reduce spend.

While this role is heavily focused on commercial growth strategy, you'll still be expected to be hands-on within Meta Ads Manager.

Offers, CRO & Growth Opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to improve offers, bundles, pricing and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop strategies to increase first-order AOV and contribution margin.
  • Review website conversion funnels and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with our landing page team to develop and test new customer experiences.
  • Support clients with strategic recommendations around products, positioning and launches.
  • Understand how stock, fulfilment costs, customer lifetime value and other commercial factors influence growth.

You won't need to personally execute every aspect of CRO or website development. Your responsibility is to identify opportunities and work with the right people to implement them.

Creative Strategy Collaboration

Work closely with your dedicated Creative Strategist to ensure creative production is aligned with each brand's commercial objectives.

  • Translate performance data into actionable creative insights.
  • Collaborate on testing roadmaps, messaging, offers and creative priorities.
  • Identify the creative opportunities most likely to unlock further growth.
  • Analyse test results and ensure learnings inform future strategy.

Our creative team handles research, concept development, scripting and production, allowing you to focus on the wider growth strategy.

Client Leadership & Communication
  • Lead client calls, performance reviews, forecasting discussions and strategic planning.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to ecommerce founders and leadership teams.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and challenges before clients raise them.
  • Confidently navigate difficult conversations when performance isn't meeting expectations.
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships through transparency, reliability and genuine commercial understanding.

Our clients consistently value how closely we work with them and how invested we are in their businesses. Maintaining that standard is essential.

Team Collaboration & Ownership
  • Take ownership of your accounts and strategic decisions from end to end.
  • Collaborate with Creative Strategists, designers, editors and landing page specialists.
  • Communicate proactively and ensure recommendations translate into action.
  • Share knowledge and expertise to help raise the standard across the team.
  • Support and mentor less experienced colleagues where appropriate.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Ideally 3-4+ years of experience in paid social or ecommerce performance marketing, preferably agency-side.
  • Proven experience scaling established DTC ecommerce brands through Meta advertising.
  • Experience managing significant budgets, minimum £100,000+ per month on individual accounts.
  • Strong commercial understanding of ecommerce P&Ls, unit economics, contribution margins, CAC and LTV.
  • Ability to build forecasts, analyse financial data and identify profitable growth opportunities.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify, Meta Ads Manager and analytics platforms such as Triple Whale and GA4.
  • Experience working with creative teams and identifying opportunities across offers, CRO and landing pages.
  • Confident managing client relationships and presenting strategic recommendations.

Experience with Google Ads, TikTok Ads or mentoring junior team members would be advantageous.

Who Thrives Here

  • Commercially minded: You understand how marketing decisions impact the wider business, not just the ad account.
  • Independent: You take ownership, identify problems and make confident decisions without constant oversight.
  • Strategic but hands-on: You enjoy solving bigger business challenges but are equally comfortable executing in Meta.
  • Proactive: You identify opportunities before clients ask about them.
  • Analytical: You back recommendations with data and commercial reasoning.
  • Client-focused: You're comfortable advising founders, challenging assumptions and navigating difficult conversations.
  • Collaborative: You understand that great results come from paid media, creative and commercial strategy working together.
  • Ambitious: You want to keep developing and play an important role in a growing agency.

What Success Looks Like

First 30 Days: You've developed a strong understanding of your assigned brands, their commercial objectives, performance and biggest growth opportunities.

By Day 60: You're confidently managing accounts, leading client discussions and developing actionable strategies to address growth constraints.

By Day 90: You're taking ownership of your portfolio with minimal oversight. Clients trust your judgement, your pod is aligned around clear objectives, and you're driving measurable progress through strategic improvements.

Longer term, you're helping your brands achieve their revenue, new customer acquisition and profitability goals while contributing to the development of our wider growth strategy function.

What We Offer
  • £50,000 to £60,000 base salary, depending on experience.
  • Uncapped performance-based bonuses linked to agreed performance targets.
  • 28 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays, taken flexibly, plus your birthday off.
  • Fully remote working.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Annual salary reviews and regular progression reviews.
  • Structured onboarding with clear 30, 60 and 90-day expectations.
  • High-impact work with ambitious seven-figure ecommerce brands and significant advertising budgets.
  • Dedicated creative and production resources.
  • Direct access to senior leadership, with genuine ownership and autonomy.
  • Long-term opportunities to help develop and lead our growth strategy and paid social team.

Why Dominate Next?

We're a growing team building something ambitious.

We don't want to become an agency where people manage 15 accounts, spend their days producing reports and barely have time to understand the businesses they're helping.

We believe in working with fewer, better clients and giving our team the resources, autonomy and commercial understanding needed to genuinely help them grow.

You'll have the opportunity to work directly with ambitious ecommerce founders, make meaningful commercial decisions and see the impact of your work.

As we grow, you'll also have the opportunity to help shape our growth strategy function and progress into wider leadership responsibilities.

If you're an experienced performance marketer who wants to move beyond simply managing advertising campaigns and take ownership of how ecommerce businesses grow, we'd love to hear from you.
