The Role As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will own the end-to-end recruitment process Eliquent's client. You will be the face of our employer brand, ensuring that candidates have a world-class experience from the first outreach to onboarding. This is a 100% remote position, and we are looking for someone based in Ireland to join our team.

Highly preferred experience in talent acquisition/HR within the engineering or life sciences industry

Training will require some on site presence in Cork, Ireland

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full life cycle recruiting, building strategic relationships with hiring managers, and developing effective sourcing strategies for proactive recruitment.

Essential Functions

  • Manage full life cycle recruiting process from posting to offer except for assigned positions, ensuring a smooth process for hiring managers, candidates and new hires throughout the recruiting process.
  • Build strategic talent pipelines, effective recruitment marketing campaigns, and positive relationships with workforce development partners.
  • Attend recruitment functions (job fairs, career days, etc.) Act as liaison with approved outside recruitment sources (i.e. – specialty recruiters, staffing services, co-op programs, etc.)
  • Actively partner with the business to strategically identify their current and future needs.
  • Ensure compliance with Eliquent policies and OFCCP/EEO guidelines.
  • Suggest Improvements to current policies and procedures to proactively address problems and allow for successful organisational growth.

Additional Functions

  • Partner with, educate and consult with hiring managers on recruiting processes, strategy and expectations.
  • Determine appropriate recruiting sources based upon recruiting need (skills needed, urgency of need, experience with sources, etc.). Support “promote from within” policy through internal referral promotion.Continuously identify effective recruitment sources and advertisement opportunities.
  • Assist hiring managers with building and/or editing job descriptions.
  • Ensure that the hiring process/hiring managers complies with Eliquent policies and procedures and with employment laws and regulations.
  • Post positions to suitable job boards (pre-agreed).
  • Phone screen/interview candidates as required.
  • Promote Eliquent in the most positive way to potential candidates.
  • Provide high level customer service to hiring manager, candidates and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting coordinator for interview scheduling and offer generation.
  • Track candidates/requisitions through our Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Work on special projects as assigned.
  • Adhere to Recruiter KPIs.
  • Mentor team members.

Quality:

  • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

Training & Development:

  • Ensure training has been received before undertaking specific duties and that all training is documented in training records.

Health & Safety:

  • Understand the company’s Health & Safety Policy and follow all associated procedures. Report all accidents or awareness of any unsafe conditions in the workplace to management.

Basic Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years recruiting experience or HS/GED with 7+ years recruiting experience
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems
  • Full life cycle recruiting – guiding candidates and hiring managers all the way through the recruitment process
  • Strong candidate assessment skills
  • Mastery of candidate & marketing techniques

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ year of Pharma/Biotech/CRO recruiting
  • Highly preferred experience in talent acquisition/HR within the engineering or life sciences industry

Preferred Knowledge:

  • OFCCP/EEO guidelines and requirements
