About Equip.me
Equip.me is an international B2B distributor of professional kitchen equipment.
We sell only to dealers and distributors, not end users. Our brands cover three key segments:
· Hurakan (high-volume value range – China)
· Apach (premium Italian)
· Tatra (mid-range Turkish/Italian)
We operate warehouses in Lithuania, Greece, and Georgia and support dealers across Europe, CIS, and new export markets. The team is young, fast, and very entrepreneurial.
The Role
We are hiring Business Development Managers to open new markets and grow our dealer network in specific target regions.
This is a hands-on, outbound commercial role. You will prospect, visit clients, develop partnerships, and build your own sales territory from zero. We expect independence, strong activity, and the ability to move quickly.
You report directly to the European Business Director.
Your mission
✔ Find and sign new dealers and distributors
✔ Open new markets and expand existing ones
✔ Build a long-term sales pipeline and close deals
✔ Represent the brands during client visits and trade fairs
Responsibilities
• Identify and acquire new distributors, dealers, and partners in your assigned region.
• Conduct active outbound sales (cold emails, cold calls, LinkedIn outreach).
• Build and manage your pipeline from first contact to closing.
• Travel regularly to meet clients, present products, negotiate, and support onboarding.
• Prepare offers, quotations, pricing proposals, and commercial terms.
• Collaborate with logistics, back office, and after-sales teams to ensure smooth deliveries and support.
• Monitor market activity, competitor behaviour, and product needs in your region.
• Plan and manage your own schedule and travel — full autonomy, no micro-management.
• Report weekly on sales progress and market developments.
What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years in export sales, business development, or B2B industrial equipment sales.
• Proven success in opening new accounts from zero (must-have).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Highly independent, structured, and self-driven.
• Comfortable with frequent international travel.
• Strong English (required).
• Additional languages valued: Hungarian, Serbian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, German.
• Experience in logistics, distribution, or HoReCa equipment is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment with quick decisions and high activity.
