The HR Generalist drives people operations and HR programs end-to-end, serving as the primary point of contact for employees and managers on talent matters.
The role partners with leadership to scale onboarding, performance management, and compliance across a growing remote workforce while fostering an engaging culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Administer benefits programs, leaves of absence, and payroll support in partnership with finance and external vendors
- Partner with department leads to execute annual performance reviews, compensation cycles, and talent development programs
- Resolve employee relations issues, providing guidance on policies, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate people analytics reports to inform leadership decision-making
- Update and maintain employee handbooks and HR documentation across multiple jurisdictions
- 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or People Operations specialist in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Rippling, BambooHR, or Workday, and ATS tools like Greenhouse
- Solid working knowledge of U.S. employment laws, multi-state compliance, and payroll administration
- Exceptional communication, empathy, and conflict-resolution skills when handling sensitive matters
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Bonus: SHRM-CP or PHR certification, and prior experience supporting remote technology teams
