Data Analyst - 100% remote - Portugal - 6 months

Exalto consulting are currently recruiting for a contract Data Analyst, this is 100% remote working from Portugal, initially 6 moths looking for someone who has experience working in an ERP environment ideally within food and beverage/ manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

· 5+ years in a data management, data migration, or master data role within an ERP environment (implementation, product, or customer-side).

· Proven ownership of data mapping and master data governance across a multi-module ERP.

· Hands-on experience with data migration lifecycles: ETL, cleansing, validation, reconciliation.

· Strong SQL and practical experience with data manipulation and profiling tools (e.g. SQL Server, Excel/Power Query, Power BI, or equivalent).

· Ability to translate between technical data structures and business meaning — comfortable working with developers, consultants, and customer operations teams alike.

· Meticulous documentation habits and a genuine intolerance for inconsistent data.

Desirable skills and experience:

· Experience in the food and beverage or process manufacturing industry — familiarity with lot traceability, formulations/recipes, allergen management, catch weights, and shelf-life-driven inventory.

· Knowledge of F&B regulatory and audit frameworks (BRCGS, SQF, HACCP, FSMA).

· Experience with integration patterns and middleware (APIs, EDI, flat-file exchange).

· Exposure to demo/training environment management or sales engineering.

· Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g. DAMA-DMBOK) or formal MDM tooling.
