Compliance Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

Firm Advice is seeking a Compliance Paralegal, Analyst, or Manager to support our client’s privacy and compliance teams in implementing and maintaining procedures required under a privacy-related consent order. In this key role, you will help design and enforce internal guidelines to ensure company-wide compliance with privacy requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to promote secure handling of information and to uphold the standards set by the consent order.

This position is remote within the United States.

The anticipated duration is approximately 6 to 12 months, with a possibility of converting to a hired position.

Responsibilities include:

• Partnering with legal, compliance, and privacy teams to interpret consent order obligations.
• Developing procedures and documentation to support company compliance efforts.
• Creating user-friendly guidelines and best practices for securing sensitive information.
• Supporting training and internal communication to promote privacy awareness.
• Assisting in audits, reporting, and ongoing compliance monitoring, as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with consent orders stemming from data breaches.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Experience developing compliance procedures or protocols based on regulatory requirements.
• Litigation support experience (particularly in class action or multi-district litigation) is a plus.

The rate is $40 to $75 per hour, depending on level and type of experience.
