About the Role

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandising Associate to support the successful execution of merchandising initiatives for our online channel and growing fleet of retail stores. This role will be essential to the day-to-day operations of the Merchandising team, and will partner closely with the Director of Merchandising and Framebridge cross-functional teams to ensure our products are brought to market beautifully, accurately, and on time.

Reports to: Director, Merchandising

Location: Remote; must work east coast hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project and Calendar Management: Support the merchandising team in managing all project timelines and go to market deliverables. This includes tracking key milestones for photoshoot, product development and marketing initiatives, and ensuring all key deadlines are met.
  • Sample & Order Management: Acts as the central point of contact for the tracking of all physical product samples.
  • This role will be responsible for ordering, organizing, tracking, and distributing samples for photoshoots, press requests, high priority orders, and internal reviews in close partnership with our operations team. This includes maintaining a clear inventory (through detailed management in Google sheets) of all samples and coordinating their movement between our suppliers and teams at Framebridge.
  • Cross-Functional Project Management & Support: Tracks and communicates key milestones and launch dates to cross-functional partners and flags potential risks to relevant team members.
  • Acts as a problem-solver and provides creative solutions when risks or delays come up.
  • Supports the development of materials for cross-functional teams, including product launch details, line sheets, product knowledge presentations, and seasonal preparation and hindsight materials.
  • Develops strong relationships across cross-functional teams including creative, marketing, retail, e-commerce, and operations.
  • General Merchandising Support: Pull and organize sales reports and other performance data to inform future assortment strategies.
  • Prepares presentations and materials for internal merchandising meetings and seasonal reviews.
  • Documents product details and helps to develop specification sheets across the product assortment and supporting materials, including frame styles, frame components, packaging and collateral details, etc.
  • Assists in preparing for and facilitating cross-functional meetings as needed and is comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and timelines.
  • Competitive Analysis & Market Research: Understands and monitors the competitive landscape (both retail and online) and has a pulse on developing market trends, product introductions, and opportunities to maximize our existing assortment.

Essential Qualifications

  • 2+ years of merchandising experience in an omnichannel environment
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellence in cross-functional project management with a strong sense of ownership in driving forward business objectives
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
  • Experience owning vendor communications, physical sample management, and calendar management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides)
  • Interest in interior design and home decor space with a high taste level and understanding of the market landscape

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in custom products, home decor, or DTC brands
  • Experience with Shopify and data reporting tools like Looker, DOMO
  • Familiarity with Figma and other related design platforms
  • Experience working directly with manufacturing, operations, and purchasing teams
  • Background in luxury or premium brands
