We are currently supporting a Public Sector organisation who require interim support within their Work Scheduling team.
The purpose of this role is to manage, co-ordinate and monitor service-related appointments on a daily basis including reallocation of work; to ensure appointments are achieved on target during sickness absence, holiday periods and prioritise jobs based on urgency.
The role will also involve monitoring performance to ensure service delivery and customer satisfaction targets are achieved, ensuring that building services works carried out by operatives and sub-contractors are accurately recorded and processed to deadlines, and supporting the building response supervisor to ensure service continuity.
Contract Details:
- Salary: £150-180 per day
- Location: United Kingdom (Remote)
- Start Date: ASAP
- IR35 Status: Pending confirmation (expected inside)
- Contract Length: 3 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage appointments in liaison with technicians/technical staff and the customer service centre to ensure clear communications and timely response to enquiries.
- Allocate work efficiently based on job volume and duration to ensure technician and subcontractor performance standards are met.
- Analyse customer satisfaction data and recommend actions to maintain or improve service quality.
- Support the Lead Work Planner in day-to-day allocation of duties and assume responsibilities in their absence.
- Liaise with the Homes and Properties team to address and resolve repair queries.
- Respond to customer complaints and queries in accordance with corporate policy and procedures.
- Monitor subcontractor work status and ensure accurate recording and timely completion within budget.
- Raise and manage building repair jobs through internal systems, including follow-on works from technicians.
- Compile performance and statistical reports, including confidential data analysis.
- Oversee allocation of emergency and standard jobs daily to meet appointment targets.
- Work to agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as set and monitored by the line manager.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in workforce planning or service coordination within a public sector or similar environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proactive decision-making and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of health and safety and relevant legislation.
- Experience working with internal management systems and data reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work remotely and manage priorities independently.
