Reporting Analyst

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our client for a remote-based Venture Capital Reporting Analyst.

They are looking for a high-calibre Analyst to join their team and support the execution and insight behind their fundraising and advisory activity.

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in delivering high-quality financial and strategic support across their portfolio, pipeline, and investor network. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of fast-growing sectors, collaborating closely with investment professionals, founders, and external advisors.

What the role involves:

• Industry & market research: Carry out sector deep-dives, investor mapping, and macro analysis to inform fundraising narratives and investor targeting.
• Fund management: Support group-level fundraising efforts and day-to-day fund operations.
• Portfolio support & fundraising: Assist portfolio companies with capital raises by preparing or reviewing pitch decks, financial models, data rooms, and investor pipelines.
• Investor database management: Maintain and optimise CRM systems, track outreach and engagement, and ensure data accuracy.
• Internal & external reporting: Contribute to the preparation of internal updates and investor presentations.
• Compliance & process support: Provide occasional support across KYC, legal, and process-related compliance.

Who we’re looking for:

• Experience within venture capital or private equity
• Strong research and analytical abilities, with the skill to simplify complex information into clear insights
• Solid financial modelling and PowerPoint capability
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
• A proactive, detail-driven mindset
• Familiarity with AI tools and platforms is highly advantageous
• A genuine interest in working with early-stage companies
