Java Software Engineer
Location: Belfast (Predominantly Remote)

Harrington Starr has partnered with a leading global technology company to recruit a Java Software Engineer for its Belfast-based team. Specialising in software solutions for the financial services industry, the business is focused on modernising its technology platforms and developing innovative applications. They are seeking a strong Java developer who enjoys building high-quality software, working with modern architectures and contributing to the evolution of financial technology.
Key responsibilities:
- Strong commercial experience developing applications using Java
- Experience designing and building microservices and scalable back-end systems
- Knowledge of full-stack development, with exposure to React being advantageous
- An interest in AI and emerging technologies, with previous involvement in AI projects being beneficial
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering team
Key benefits:
Salary up to £65,000
