Purpose Of Role:
Senior Conversion Analyst is responsible for the process of transferring accounting data from the external administrator’s system into State Street accounting platform (MCH) or between various MCH entities in case of funds events. They work under supervision of Conversion Managers, but with a high degree of autonomy, often taking full ownership of entire topics and projects.
Specific Duties:
- Preparation and review of accounting migration reconciliation files that include detailed analysis of occurred discrepancies between SSB accounting records and current administrator system or between two SSB set of data as part of inter-fund transfer. Presenting comparison results to other stakeholders involved in the migration project
- Independently leading small scale projects with limited number of stakeholders (single component migrations, load-only events, internal initiatives), often requiring coordinating work of the assigned project team
- Taking responsibility for high impact topics/tasks when supporting full scale migrations. Taking ownership of the final results and acting as a main contact point in terms of related communication.
- Building and maintaining professional working relationship with all the stakeholders that take part in the conversion as well as within the internal project team.
- Completion of tasks and ad-hoc inquiries assigned to the project in a timely and professional manner according to internal deadlines and best practice standards.
- Targeting green Timeliness & Accuracy KPIs at all times, whenever they are applicable to the process supported.
- Supporting creation and maintenance of job aids and relevant procedures
- Following Inadvertent Data Disclosure remediation standards.
- Taking responsibility for identifying lessons learnt & best practices after each project. Ensuring that agreed changes to the process are applied by the team in daily work.
- Improving current processes in order to enhance controls (Risk Excellence) and increase efficiency.
- Taking part in project allocation and subsequent work reallocation, making sure all ongoing and upcoming projects are well covered in terms of resources.
- Supporting transfer of knowledge within the team, participating in cross-training to ensure future projects requirements are met.
- Participating in recruitment and onboarding of new team members, providing on-the-job training and assisting less experienced colleagues in their day-to-day duties.

Specific Qualifications / Skills:

- MCH skills at a very good level

Level Of Education:
- University Students or Graduates (preferably Finance, Accountancy or Business-related degrees)
Level Of Experience:
- Previous experience in fund accounting is preferred
