Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Administrator to support the company’s compliance, governance, and regulatory processes.
  • This UK-remote role is responsible for maintaining compliance records, monitoring internal controls, supporting audits, and ensuring that company policies meet legal and regulatory standards.
  • The ideal candidate is proactive, meticulous, and able to manage a wide variety of tasks within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Compliance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Assist in monitoring organizational compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and status updates for senior leadership.
  • Track and maintain records of compliance activities, reviews, and approvals.

2. Policy & Procedure Management

  • Maintain and update company policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
  • Support the development and communication of new compliance policies.
  • Ensure staff have access to the latest versions of compliance documents.

3. Audit Support

  • Assist internal and external audits by preparing documents, reports, and evidence.
  • Maintain audit logs and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
  • Coordinate with departments to gather required audit information.

4. Regulatory & Legal Compliance

  • Support compliance efforts relating to UK regulatory frameworks, including GDPR, FCA, ISO standards, AML, and data protection.
  • Stay informed of changes in relevant regulations and help update internal processes.
  • Maintain accurate and secure compliance and regulatory records.

5. Training & Awareness

  • Coordinate compliance training sessions, learning modules, and refresher courses.
  • Track employee training completion and maintain training records.
  • Support compliance communication campaigns and staff awareness initiatives.

6. Risk Management Support

  • Assist in risk assessments and monitoring of risk controls.
  • Update risk registers and track mitigation actions.
  • Support the creation of incident reports and follow-up investigations.

7. Administrative Duties

  • Manage compliance email inbox, documentation requests, and queries.
  • Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes for compliance committees.
  • Support day-to-day workflow and operational tasks within the compliance team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Compliance, Risk Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in compliance, legal administration, governance, auditing, or regulated industry environment.
  • Strong understanding of compliance principles and UK regulatory standards (GDPR, FCA guidance, AML requirements, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and document-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365, SharePoint, and compliance management tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently in a remote environment.
