Job Title: Executive Assistant
Location: Remote with regular travel to Skegness up to three times a month.
Reporting to: Commercial Director
Hours: Full Time. 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive DOE.

Job Purpose
We are looking for a capable, proactive Executive Assistant who is who is eager to build commercial insight and broaden their skills. This role combines high-level executive support with hands-on exposure to strategic and operational areas of the business.
You’ll work directly with the Commercial Director, supporting key activities, managing schedules and communications, whilst also gaining structured exposure to project management, strategy, finance and business development.
Ideal for someone with 1–3 years’ relevant experience who is ambitious about a career in business or commercial leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support:
- Manage and maintain the Director’s calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Assist in preparing letters, reports, presentations, tenders and other documents as required.
- Providing regular updates on priority tasks, tracking deadlines and following up on outstanding actions as needed.
- Maintain electronic filing systems and ensure all documents are stored in an organised and accessible manner.
- Accurately take and circulate meeting minutes, track agreed actions and ensure follow-up.
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative, identifying ways to streamline executive workflows.
Communication:
- Acting as the primary point of contact between the Director and internal/external parties.
- Drafting and editing emails, letters or other communication on behalf of the Director’s, ensuring effective communication flow within the company.
- Screen and manage incoming calls, emails and correspondence, prioritising and delegating as necessary.
Confidentiality:
- Handling confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
- Maintaining confidential documents and files.
Business Exposure and Development:
- Participate in high-level meetings, including those related to finance, business development and strategy, with responsibility for note taking, document preparation and follow-ups.
- Shadow Directors in strategic discussions, offering a valuable window into decision-making processes and business planning.
- Support the development of internal projects by attending briefings, tracking process and assisting with coordination where appropriate.
- Gain insight into contracts, financial processes and commercial governance.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- 1-3 years experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role.
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in business operations, commercial leadership or strategic management.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Confident with excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and capable of interacting with Board Members and Senior Stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant tools.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive and solution-orientated approach to problem solving, with the ability to take initiative and work autonomously.
Advantageous
- Currently studying for or recently completed a degree (BSc, MSc, MBA) in Business Management or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a professional, fast-paced environment, ideally within a technology or software business.
- Familiarity with business planning and tender documentation.
