Role Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Credit Analyst / Risk Analyst to support credit evaluation, risk assessment, and strategic decision-making processes. This role is responsible for analyzing financial information, assessing creditworthiness, identifying potential risks, and providing insights that contribute to sound business and financial decisions.
The successful candidate will review financial data, business performance indicators, and market information to evaluate credit risk and overall risk exposure. You will conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, prepare risk assessments, and support the development of risk management strategies that align with organizational objectives.
Key responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, assessing credit applications, evaluating borrower profiles, monitoring risk indicators, and preparing reports that support lending, investment, or business decisions. You will identify trends, potential vulnerabilities, and emerging risks while providing recommendations to improve risk management and decision-making processes.
The role also involves conducting industry and market research, monitoring portfolio performance, supporting risk modeling activities, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and risk management frameworks. You will collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather information, evaluate risk factors, and contribute to business planning initiatives.
Additional responsibilities may include performing due diligence reviews, preparing risk reports and presentations, assisting with stress testing and scenario analysis, maintaining risk documentation, and supporting process improvement projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, data-driven, and capable of translating complex financial and risk information into actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of credit analysis, financial analysis, and risk assessment principles.
- Ability to analyze financial statements, business performance, and cash flow information.
- Knowledge of risk management concepts, credit evaluation methodologies, and financial markets.
- Familiarity with financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis techniques.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
