As a Financial Analyst, you will be an integral member of the finance team, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, driving data-informed decision-making, and strengthening the company’s financial health. Responsibilities
- Manage core accounting functions including reconciliations, journal entries, accounts receivable/payable, and billing.
- Review transactions for compliance with GAAP and company policies, ensuring accurate expense allocation.
- Analyze billing transactions and ensure proper revenue recognition.
- Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and budget variance reports.
- Assist in designing and preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
- Support year-end audits and prepare tax-related schedules.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting operations.
- Communicate financial insights clearly to cross-functional teams, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience (Staff Accountant) or 5–8 years (Senior Accountant) in accounting or auditing; public accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in GAAP, financial statement preparation, and revenue recognition.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting software (NetSuite, Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to process improvement and continuous learning
