Opportunity
Kem Krest is seeking a strategic and hands-on Marketing Manager – OEM to develop and execute marketing programs that build brand awareness, create demand, and drive new business opportunities with OEM decision-makers. This role owns the OEM marketing strategy from audience research and persona development through campaign execution, measurement, and optimization, helping position Kem Krest as the preferred partner for complex aftermarket supply chain and fulfillment solutions.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this fully remote position works closely with Business Development, Sales, Account Management, Operations, and Marketing partners. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable conducting Voice of Customer research, developing strategy, leading agency partners, building demand generation programs, and creating compelling content that influences OEM buying groups. Preference is given to candidates located in the Midwest, with approximately 25–30% travel required for customer visits, industry events, and collaboration across Kem Krest locations.
Responsibilities
- Lead OEM marketing strategy and execution to increase brand awareness, demand generation, pipeline growth, and program wins across target industries.
- Develop and maintain Voice of Customer programs, including customer interviews, win/loss analyses, surveys, feedback loops, and market intelligence initiatives.
- Create and evolve buyer personas and buyer journey maps for OEM purchasing, product, program, aftermarket, supply chain, and operational decision-makers.
- Design, launch, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns through digital channels, industry events, thought leadership programs, and executive engagement initiatives.
- Build compelling value propositions, campaign themes, content strategies, and customer-facing materials that differentiate Kem Krest from traditional logistics and distribution providers.
- Write and develop original marketing content, including thought leadership, case studies, email campaigns, presentations, and sales enablement tools.
- Manage agency relationships by creating strategic briefs, evaluating creative output, managing budgets, and ensuring campaign performance aligns with business objectives.
- Partner with Digital Marketing and Marketing Operations resources to execute campaigns, maintain data integrity, support automation efforts, and improve reporting capabilities.
- Establish performance dashboards and reporting frameworks that measure campaign effectiveness, lead quality, pipeline contribution, and marketing ROI.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Account Management teams to support growth strategies, competitive positioning, account expansion opportunities, and program renewals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive B2B marketing experience with ownership of integrated marketing strategies for complex, long-cycle buying environments.
- Demonstrated success conducting Voice of Customer research and translating insights into actionable personas, buyer journeys, messaging strategies, and campaign plans.
- Deep expertise in demand generation, account-based marketing, lead nurturing, content strategy, sales alignment, and campaign optimization.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with experience personally creating marketing copy, thought leadership content, and customer engagement materials.
- Experience marketing within automotive, aftermarket, heavy-duty, powersports, industrial, OEM, Tier 1 supplier, or comparable enterprise environments highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, ZoomInfo, Excel, Power BI, and data-driven performance analysis.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage agency partners in a shared-resource environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with curiosity, business acumen, and comfort using AI-enabled tools.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles, regulatory marketing considerations, and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
