Job Summary TheManager,ServiceImplementationisaccountable andresponsible fortimelyand successful completion ofNRTC Managed Servicesprojects within theservice implementationprogram. This positionoverseesa team of project management professionals andmanagesthis teamin alignment withbroader NRTC andPMO standards and policies. Thisroleisaccountable fordeliverables, schedules, and milestonesfor deploying theNRTC Managed Servicessuite of value driven solutions for new and existingMembers. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the Managed Services ImplementationProgram and staff
- Oversee and manage templates forimplementationprojects, requests, andchanges in alignment withNRTC Standards, Guidelines, and Policies
- Develop andmanagea team of professional Project Managers
- Maintain, manage, andutilizeproject management procedures, templates, and tools to drive and track completion of work to ensureadherenceto department policies
- Manage implementation projects of high complexitysetting an example ofexemplaryPMperformance
- Foster motivation within the project managers, as well asall levels of seniority to meet milestones anddeadlines
- Maintain NRTC’s history of continuous improvement on projects by sharing lessons learned, developing solutions to existing problems, and driving incremental updates/changes to ourtemplates
- Stay aware of trends related toProject Managementand Service Managementbest practicesto find opportunities to deploy better methods andprocedures
- Respond to inquiries of PMO procedures across the entire Managed Servicesorganizationwith continual development of relevant subject matterexpertise
- Assignproject work and communicate effectivelycrossdepartmentallyto support the effectiveuse ofinternal resources forprogram success.It is critical that this person is engaged, collaborative, and motivating whenfacilitatingworking relationships withthe PMO as well asother departments andstaff
- Identify, mitigate, and manage risks, associated withallprojectsunder thisprogram
- Stakeholder management responsibilities will include reporting and managing communications from projects and changes. Stakeholders will include your projectmembers, theNRTCProject Management team, various NRTC departments, as well as anyMember stakeholdersidentified
- Research and study Project Management industry trends and best practices while deploying new project management methods to improve current project managementpractices
- Perform other duties asassigned
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong experience with navigating project management terminology, phases, techniques, and tools (PMBOK) and mapping to real world scenarios
- Established project management experience witha track recordof successfully completedprojects
- Communication skills that are positive and professional, both verbally andwritten
- Ability toidentifycritical deliverables and communicate key requirementseffectively
- Ability to work collaboratively by fostering and leading a team environment to meet aggressivegoals
- Ability to quickly learn andutilizenew technologiesand project managementapplications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with competing prioritiessimultaneously
Minimum Education And Experience
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certified
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience managing projects
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience managing employees
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Physical Demands
- Travel as needed toNRTC office andmember locations(less than 10%)
- Work is typically performedremotely
