LHH has partnered with our San Francisco, CA retail and apparel client to recruit an Brand Marketing Specialist to join their team on a fully remote, contract basis, set for 6+ months and 40 hours per week. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating across the marketing, creative, merchandising and product teams to ensure brand alignment, cohesion in messaging and that cultural moments are maximized by the brand. You will own content calendars for various brand functions, will ensure deadlines and project scopes are met and aligned, and will be a key resource and representative for overall brand marketing initiatives across these integrated teams. To be a fit, you should bring 2+ years of brand marketing or similar experience in a consumer products company, with experience working across larger, more nuanced marketing and creative functions. A depth of knowledge in retail, apparel or fashion is a big plus and will allow you to be most passionate about this brand and the brand experience! Calendar management, project management and cross-functional experience is a must. Experience working with product and merchandising team is highly preferred.

This opportunity is with a well-know brand in the fashion and apparel space! This is a 6+ month contract position and will be fully remote, primarily working on a PST schedule. Pay ranges from $45 to $52 an hour, depending on level of experience or relevant organization size and industry. LHH Contractors are W2 employees and eligible for benefits, including medical, dental and vision options, 401(K), accruing paid sick time at the CA rate and access to LHH resources.

You will:

  • Serve as a cross-functional resource and partner to integrated marketing teams, including Creative, Digital, Merchandising, Product and similar to ensure cohesion in brand voice, brand moments and brand experience with an eye on optimizing all relevant projects for target customers
  • Own content and campaign calendars between these functions, conducting strategic planning for these calendars and maintaining deadlines and project needs, ensuring all relevant teams and staff are aligned on scope, deadline and similar
  • Keep a pulse on brand storytelling and the cultural landscape, providing insights and opportunities for integrated teams to leverage viral moments, trends or similar in campaigns
  • Own the planning and strategy behind the company’s blog, working with writing and editorial teams to identify subjects, content and similar ideas for fresh posts from the brand
  • Drive cohesion, collaboration and communications across cross-functional teams

Your experience should include:

  • 2+ years of relevant, dedicated experience in brand marketing or similar integrated marketing experience in the consumer products, apparel, retail or fashion industries
  • Experience working in retail and apparel, fashion, consumer products or similar businesses with more nuanced marketing functions, required
  • Deep understanding of the true brand marketing world, with experience in a brand marketing role highly preferred
  • Excitement and engagement with fashion, retail and apparel spaces that leads to a curiosity and finger on the pulse of trends and opportunities for memorable brand moments
  • Excellent project management skills with experience working between technical, brand and creative stakeholders
