Job Description:
Title: Division Finance Manager
Location: Remote (Travel 1-3x a month to Canada)
Setting: Remote
Compensation: $120k - $140k + 24% annual bonus + 401k match (50% match on first 6%)
About the Role
Our client is seeking a Division Finance Manager to serve as a strategic business partner to operational leadership within a large, multi-location organization. This highly visible role combines financial planning and analysis, operational finance, forecasting, and performance management to help drive business results.
The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with business leaders, translating complex financial data into actionable insights, and influencing decisions that improve revenue growth, profitability, and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership & Operational Finance
- Partner with operational leadership to improve financial and business performance
- Provide financial guidance and decision support across multiple business units and locations
- Deliver training, tools, and insights that help leaders understand financial performance drivers
- Identify process improvements and operational opportunities that support profitability and growth
Financial Analysis & Strategic Support
- Analyze financial results, operational metrics, and performance trends
- Develop business cases and financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives and investments
- Identify risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations
- Support leadership teams with decision-making through data-driven analysis
Forecasting & Planning
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and annual planning activities
- Review business assumptions and performance expectations with operational leaders
- Monitor progress toward key business objectives and strategic initiatives
- Prepare financial analyses, trend reports, and management presentations
Process Improvement
- Recommend process enhancements, system improvements, and financial controls
- Support ongoing modernization and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally to improve reporting capabilities and business insights
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 4-7 years of progressive finance, FP&A, accounting, or business analysis experience
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence business partners
Preferred
- MBA, CPA, CFA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification
- Experience supporting multi-site or multi-location operations
- Experience partnering with operational leadership teams
- Exposure to business intelligence, analytics, or financial reporting platforms
- Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
