Job Description
Posted on: October 10, 2025
Who We Are
We’re Lingoinn, a London-based education company on a mission to help people around the world fall in love with the Mandarin language and Chinese culture.
We create immersive learning programmes in China, Taiwan, and Singapore that go far beyond the classroom, combining language study, travel, and cultural exploration into one unforgettable experience. Every programme is personalised to match each learner’s goals and interests, making Mandarin learning exciting, meaningful, and fun.
About the Role
We’re growing fast, and we’re on the lookout for a Social Media & Community Manager who’s creative, reliable, and full of ideas to help us take our online presence to the next level
If you love creating content that connects, sparking real conversations, building communities that feel authentic and inspiring, and have a real passion for Chinese language and culture, you’ll fit right in.
This is a freelance, remote role, perfect for someone who’s self-motivated, well organised, and excited to help us share Lingoinn’s story with the world. You’ll work closely with our senior management team to plan, create, and bring to life a social media strategy that strengthens Lingoinn’s brand, grows our global community, and celebrates the beauty of cross-cultural connection.
What You’ll Be Doing

- Manage Our Channels – Keep our social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and our community group) alive with fresh, engaging content that reflects our voice and values. From planning and scheduling posts to chatting with followers, you’ll make our community feel seen, heard, and inspired to learn Mandarin.
- Run Paid Campaigns – Plan, launch, and optimise targeted ads that help us reach new learners and expand our online community.
- Collaborate with Influencers and Partners – Coordinate meaningful partnerships and creative collaborations that amplify our reach and strengthen our brand.
- Track, Learn, and Improve – Monitor key metrics, share insights, and bring fresh ideas to keep our content performing at its best.
- Stay Curious and Creative – Keep up with the latest social trends, experiment with new formats, and bring your own flair and originality to everything you do.
Who You Are
- You have 3+ years’ experience managing social media accounts and building engaged online communities.
- You’re a natural communicator – creative, warm, and confident writing in a friendly, engaging tone that connects with people.
- You’re fluent in English (native or near-native level) and can communicate in Mandarin at a basic or intermediate level.
- You’ve got a great eye for detail and design, and you enjoy creating visual content. Experience with Canva (or similar tools) is a big plus!
- You’re proactive, well organised, and adaptable, comfortable juggling different projects in a small, fast-moving team.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is great to have, but not essential; what matters most to us is your skills, creativity, and enthusiasm.
What We OfferRemote and flexible working schedule – work from anywhere, at times that suit you (35 hours + per month)
Salary: £30K+ (pro-rata)
- Start date: ASAP
- Opportunities for training, development, and language learning
- A friendly, international team that loves creativity, culture, and meaningful connections
