Part-time Researcher

Job Title: Part-Time Researcher (2 Days a Week)Salary: £45,000 Pro Rata (circa £18,000)

Our client is seeking a part-time researcher to join their team. This remote-first role is ideal for someone who values flexibility and the ability to work from home, with monthly in-office meetings for team cohesion.

About the Role:

As a Private Equity Researcher, you will be responsible for:

• Researching Target Companies
• Conducting thorough research on companies based on specific requests from the Origination team, including:
• Finding company names, registration numbers, ownership details, LinkedIn profiles, suggested contacts, and best-guess email addresses.
• Documenting the findings in Excel and uploading them to the CRM system.
• CRM Management & Data Analysis: Management of the CRM system, including pulling data extracts and providing basic statistics.

Working Pattern:

• Part-Time, Remote-First
• 2-3 days per week, with the flexibility to work predominantly from home. You must be able to commute to London easily as required. While the role is mostly remote, they value team cohesion and would ask that you join them in person for occasional meetings or team events.
• Weekly Team Call: A 30-60 minute Research & Origination call each week to set priorities.

About You:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A track record of strong commercial decision making
• Strong analytical skills
• Based within 2 hours of London
• Experience in professional services careers/ researcher/ analyst roles would be hugely beneficial

Note: While there isn’t significant progression in this role, it’s perfect for someone who values flexibility and is comfortable in a part-time research-focused position in the long term.
