Our client is a multinational Healthcare company looking to hire an Accountant to support the Italian market. This position requires expertise while working fully remote allowing to balance both professional and personal life.

Description
The main task will be:
Journal Entries preparation
Reconciliations of accounts
Prepare flux analysis and comment on variances
Support the external provider with the preparation of Statutory Accounts
Dealing with the Internal (SOX) and External Audits Responsible for equity grant accounting, payroll booking & related activities
Support global projects VAT and Tax preparation Fixed Assets accounting
Support US GAAP reporting and SOX compliance
Support the monthly close in accordance with US GAAP while ensuring proper maintenance of statutory financial. This includes interfacing with Corporate Accounting, with external accounting firms and the external auditors.
Audit support for EMEA SSC region including, but not limited to, regional external auditors, internal audits and SOX internal control testing.
Profile
The ideal candidate should have:
Bachelor's degree in field with 5+ years of related work experience
Fluency in English, written and spoken, is a must.
Ability to speak Italian will be an advantage but not required.
SAP experience a plus
Microsoft Excel advanced user a plus
Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus
Accuracy - Attention to Detail
Team player, process oriented and hands-on
Ability to work in an international environment
Job Offer
Contract with Michael Page for a period of 12 months;
Gross Base Monthly Salary between 2.500€ and 2857€
