The program serves thousands of pet families nationally on a monthly basis.
2. About the Opportunity: The Call Center Representative role, also known as Veterinary Care Coordinator, is a fully remote position focused on delivering compassionate customer service and facilitating sensitive conversations with pet families. This position supports the organization’s mission by guiding families through emotional discussions related to end-of-life and quality-of-life care, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional service that directly impacts the client experience.
3. Responsibilities:
- Conduct calm and supportive conversations regarding end-of-life and behavioral care for pets
- Provide positive customer service interactions with pet families
- Manage a high volume of customer service calls remotely
- Maintain dependability and adhere to scheduled work hours
- Accurately document medical information and schedule appointments
- Meet productivity, quality, and performance standards
- Deliver exceptional support to pet families and veterinarians
- Ensure punctuality and compliance with attendance and work deadlines
- Participate in assigned duties to maintain high customer service standards
- Complete a mandatory multi-week intensive training program at the start of employment
4. Requirements:
- Experience in high-volume call center or customer service environments
- Reliable hard-wired Ethernet internet connection (no satellite or 4G/5G hotspots)
- Ability to learn custom software and common applications (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Maps, Five9, Zoom)
- Previous remote work experience or ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and adaptability to new processes
- Ability to be present and punctual for entire scheduled shifts
- Physical ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Hourly pay is $16.00 per hour
- Position is hourly non-exempt and eligible for overtime
