Our consulting client is a marketing data, services and technology company that delivers innovative solutions to their clients that achieve key business outcomes such as increased revenue, reduced costs and increased efficiency.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager that will help us maintain world class Net Promoter Score through the successful planning, development, and delivery of mid to large scale technology projects.
Responsibilities:
The qualified candidate must have skills in establishing project requirements, defining project resource needs, estimating work hours and budget for a project, leading project teams, managing risks and issues, monitoring and reporting progress, and following the defined standards for the project management practice. Responsibilities include:
Client Delivery & Relationship Management
- Ensure customer satisfaction through excellence in delivery of projects
- Serve as primary liaison between client stakeholders and our client's technical teams during project development
- Manage client expectations with clear communication to both business and technical stakeholders
- Provide timely responses to all inquiries (within one business day)
Project Planning & Execution
- Assume ownership, accountability, and excellence for project milestones, risks, and deliverables
- Create and maintain project plans driving milestones across multi-phase technology initiatives (discovery, design, implementation)
- Manage day-to-day operations, risks, issues, and overall project governance
- Lead daily/weekly stand-up and scrum calls to manage development milestones
- Review capacity of project team members and report variances or gaps impacting timelines
- Coordinate across distributed teams including onshore, nearshore, and offshore resources
Requirements & Documentation
- Work with clients and project teams to identify, gather, and develop business requirements for complex integrations and modernization efforts
- Ensure user stories are documented and entered in project repositories
- Collaborate with lead developers and architects to define and finalize functional requirements
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for vendor integrations, API specifications, and data flows
Technical Coordination
- Coordinate multi-vendor platform integrations (payment processors, communication platforms, third-party service providers)
- Manage projects involving email infrastructure (SendGrid, Twilio), cloud migrations (Azure), and API integrations
- Facilitate technical discussions between development teams and client IT departments
- Understand data transformation requirements, file processing workflows, and system interfaces
- Manage SSL certificates and prerequisite requirements for production implementations
Quality & Release Management
- Collaborate with QA teams to plan, execute, and report on project testing and outcomes
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing with clients and internal QA to validate for production
- Work with lead developers and release management to schedule production deployments
- Monitor production releases, coordinate validation, and obtain client sign-off
Financial & Administrative
- Maintain project team deliverables, burn rate, and earned value throughout project lifecycle
- Manage budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and invoicing for project work
- Prepare and maintain weekly project updates for executive team
- Track and report project health metrics to leadership
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 8+ years of successful end-to-end project management for complex data and technology projects with mid-level to large enterprise clients
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or related field
- Proven experience planning and managing projects involving system integrations, data migrations, and platform modernizations
- Experience coordinating with multiple third-party vendors and client technical teams
- Strong understanding of API integrations, data transformation processes, and enterprise communication platforms
- Proven understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodology / scrum processes
- Mastery of project management tools (MS Project, Azure DevOps, Office365)
- Experience analyzing reports (burndown charts, velocity charts, sprint reports)
- Ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, results oriented, and a strong sense of accountability
- High level of organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Desired Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
- Experience in managing marketing programs and projects
- Experience with continuous integration / delivery processes and tools
Additional Information:
- Will work remotely from their home office
- Minimal travel required (may include occasional overnight stays)
- Position reports to the Vice President of Operations
