Senior Business Development & Sales Director – Industrial, IoT & Automotive📍 Germany (remote) | With European Coverage💰 Base Salary: €100,000 – €120,000🚀 Uncapped OTE

Scout Global are partnering with an innovative technology company developing next-generation encryption and cybersecurity solutions for industrial and connected environments. As part of its European growth strategy, the company is seeking a Senior Business Development & Sales Director to drive expansion across key markets including Industrial Automation, IoT, Smart Manufacturing, Transportation, and Automotive.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible role where you'll combine your technical expertise and commercial acumen to identify strategic opportunities, engage senior stakeholders, and help shape the future direction of the business across Europe.

You will work closely with engineering and product teams while developing relationships with OEMs, industrial technology providers, semiconductor companies, and system integrators.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and execute a European business development strategy across Industrial, IoT, and Automotive sectors.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities and drive complex sales cycles to successful closure.
  • Engage customers at both technical and executive levels, translating requirements into compelling business solutions.
  • Leverage your existing industry network to accelerate market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to align customer needs with innovative technologies.
  • Monitor market trends, cybersecurity requirements, industrial communication standards, and competitive activity.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements throughout Europe.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years' experience in Technical Sales, Business Development, Technical Marketing, FAE, or Sales Leadership roles.
  • Strong background selling semiconductor, FPGA, embedded software, IP, or industrial technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of FPGA architectures and embedded systems.
  • Understanding of Industrial Networks, Fieldbus technologies, industrial communications, and connected systems.
  • Ability to engage confidently with engineers, architects, and executive decision-makers.
  • Existing network across European Industrial, IoT, Automotive, Semiconductor, or Embedded markets.
  • Fluent English is a MUST
  • German, French, or Spanish would be highly advantageous.
  • Engineering degree preferred.

  • Industrial cybersecurity.
  • Encryption and secure communications technologies.
  • Wired and wireless security solutions.
  • Automotive cybersecurity or connected vehicle technologies.
  • Industrial IoT and Industry 4.0 ecosystems.
