Growth Marketing Manager

Open-Source Observability & Analytics Scale-up

📍 Location: United States (Remote)

💰 Up to $200k OTE (80/20) + equity & benefits

As Growth Marketing Manager, you'll own the full demand generation engine, from brand awareness through to pipeline, for a fast-growing, open-source-first platform disrupting the observability and log analytics space. You'll be the commercial counterpart to a deeply technical product, translating complex data infrastructure capabilities into compelling narratives that resonate with engineering and platform teams.

We're looking for a data-driven, scrappy builder who thrives in early-stage environments and knows how to drive measurable growth without unlimited resources. You'll take ownership of the marketing strategy, build the systems and content needed to scale from community traction to predictable enterprise pipeline, and work closely with sales, product, and the open-source community.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-conviction company at a defining moment, shaping how developers and platform engineers think about observability, logging, and real-time analytics at scale. If you're equally comfortable running a product launch, optimising a paid campaign, and writing content that earns genuine community respect, we'd love to speak with you.

What you'll do & achieve

Own and execute the growth marketing strategy across demand generation, content, SEO, paid, community, and product-led growth (PLG) motions

Drive measurable pipeline contribution: leads, MQLs, SQLs, and revenue-influenced metrics with full-funnel visibility.

Build and manage campaigns across channels, email, paid search, social, developer communities, and events, optimising continuously for CAC and conversion.

Develop compelling content and positioning that speaks to engineering, DevOps, and platform teams, from blog posts and technical guides to case studies and landing pages.

Lead product marketing activities: launches, messaging frameworks, competitive positioning, and sales enablement Materials

Own the company's presence in open-source and developer communities (GitHub, Slack, Reddit, Hacker News, technical forums).

Build and scale an ABM programme targeting mid-market and enterprise engineering organisations.

Establish marketing infrastructure: CRM hygiene, attribution modelling, reporting dashboards, and growth experiments.

Partner closely with Sales on pipeline quality, lead scoring, and account-based plays.

Collaborate with Product and Engineering to amplify releases and surface customer stories that influence roadmap conversations.

Represent the brand at industry conferences, webinars, and developer events

Who you are

5–8+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on demand generation and growth.

Proven track record of building and scaling marketing programmes that directly contribute to pipeline and revenue in technical or developer-focused companies.

Experience marketing to engineering, DevOps, platform, or data infrastructure audiences; you understand how developers buy and what earns their trust.

Familiarity with the observability, logging, monitoring, or data analytics ecosystem (e.g. Datadog, Grafana, Elastic, Splunk, OpenTelemetry) is considered a strong advantage.

Comfortable with open-source GTM motions: community-led growth, freemium funnels, and developer advocacy.

Hands-on with modern marketing tooling: HubSpot/Salesforce, GA4, paid platforms, SEO tools, and marketing attribution.

Strong analytical instincts; you make decisions from data, run structured experiments, and can clearly articulate what's working and why.

Excellent written communicator; you can write with clarity and technical credibility for an engineering-first audience.

Highly motivated, resourceful, and energised by building something meaningful from the ground up
