2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Data Analyst, Risk Analytics is a key contributor to the fraud prevention strategy, responsible for developing analytical models, running experiments, and creating tools that enhance decision-making processes. This role drives the integration of AI into fraud analytics workflows, improving efficiency and enabling proactive responses to evolving fraud tactics.
3. Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain Python-based analyses, models, and data pipelines to support fraud decisioning and internal risk scoring
• Design and execute statistical experiments including A/B tests and vendor performance assessments
• Develop and monitor fraud risk models, handling calibration and validation
• Utilize AI tools such as large language models and code generation to automate analyses and improve workflows
• Analyze vendor performance to inform routing and contract decisions
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Looker and Hex; develop SQL models and data views
• Monitor metrics, investigate anomalies, and recommend actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical insights into operational improvements
4. Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience in fraud analytics, risk, fintech, or similar analytical roles
• Proficient in Python, familiar with pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, or similar libraries
• Strong SQL skills with ability to manage complex data operations
• Solid understanding of statistics including experiment design and model evaluation
• Experience building and validating classification models
• Active use and understanding of AI tools and their application in analytics
• Ability to operate independently and define problems in ambiguous contexts
• Familiarity with fraud vendor platforms and BI tools is advantageous
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The salary range for this role is $108,000 - $157,000 USD
• The role is equity eligible
