Job Title: AI Tutor – Oncology Specialist

Role Overview

Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to engage experienced oncologists in a transformative project focused on developing and validating advanced AI systems tailored for medical research and realistic clinical workflow simulation.

As an AI Tutor – Oncology Specialist, you will leverage your clinical expertise to guide AI models by reviewing oncology case studies, diagnoses, and treatment protocols—ensuring accuracy, safety, and adherence to medical rigor.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical input on AI-generated oncology cases and workflows
• Review and evaluate AI medical outputs to ensure alignment with established medical standards
• Deliver structured feedback focused on clinical clarity, safety, and precision
• Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to iteratively enhance AI model performance

Ideal Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of clinical oncology practice (preferably in the US)
• Board-certified MD or DO from a reputable institution with oncology experience
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills

Location & Commitment

• Candidates must reside in the US, UK, Canada, or Australia
• Part-time commitment (~20+ hours per week) for a 6-week project
• Fully remote role with flexible scheduling

Compensation & Contract

• Competitive hourly rate: $130–$170 USD, based on experience
• Top performers eligible for additional bonuses up to $30/hour weekly
