Teleion is seeking a BI Data Analyst to support Supplier Performance for a Fortune 500 company’s facilities team. As a liaison between the Analytics and Supplier Performance teams, this role will deliver and maintain dashboards, enhance processes with automation, and ensure data quality through clear documentation. They support a program that uses creativity to determine how to measure supplier success, critical thinking to pull together complex databases, and curiosity to continuously improve processes.
In this role, the BI Analyst should feel empowered to work cross-functionally in a highly ambiguous environment, proactively solve issues, and take ownership with minimum supervision. Looking for an individual that can work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to uphold high levels of confidentiality is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Tell the story of suppliers’ performance by presenting data through meaningful metrics and data visualization
- Develop tableau dashboards using SQL queries and Python scripts
- Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships across Analytics, Supplier Management, Technology, and Program teams
- Run quarterly survey to gather qualitative data on suppliers
- Perform data validation and root cause analysis
- Work cross-functionally on multiple projects while maintaining a high level of quality
- Create and improve processes with clear documentation
- Build data sets and workflows with scalability and automation in mind
Minimum Qualifications
- 8-10 years of data analysis and BI experience
- Advanced skills in Excel, Smartsheet, databases, and BI dashboards (like Tableau)
- Document data definitions, calculations, and procedures
- Experience with data modeling, mapping, and documenting workflows
- Represent the business needs of program managers to analytics team and vice versa with regular, clear communication
- History of project management with agile methodology, sprints & stories using tools like Jira, requirements gathering, planning, & status reporting
- Manage projects effectively even with high levels of ambiguity, competing priorities, and multiple teams while maintaining speed and a high level of attention to detail
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
- Intermediate skills across MS Office, particularly Outlook and Word
Desired skills:
- Knowledge of Alteryx, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Data Grip and Databricks a plus
- BI Developer experience with integrations, extract transform load (ETL), and database design
- Familiarity writing white papers or narratives to support analyses
