We're looking for a talented Lead QA Engineer with a passion for Scala and building cutting-edge tech in the Big Data space.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead QA strategy and execution for data platforms built on Kafka and Apache Spark.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks for distributed, event-driven systems.
• Validate reliability, scalability, and performance of streaming and batch pipelines.
• Drive CI/CD quality practices, defect triage, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor QA engineers and champion best practices across teams.

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong experience testing Kafka (producers, consumers, partitions) and Spark (batch and streaming).
• Proven ability to design automation for large-scale data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Java/Scala or Python for test frameworks and harnesses.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, containers, and cloud-based environments.
• Leadership skills with a collaborative, quality-first mindset.

Salary on offer: $180k - $200k + super + benefits
