Freelance Video Editor - Ecommerce

Join a dynamic performance marketing agency as a freelance video editor specializing in high-impact social media adverts for ecommerce brands. This role focuses on editing engaging content sourced from UGC creators and developing compelling storytelling ads using stock or AI-generated footage. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of performance-driven editing techniques and a keen eye for trends in the health and wellness sector. All work is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate with a creative team dedicated to delivering results for leading ecommerce clients. Responsibilities

• Edit video content from 4 UGC creators per month, producing approximately 12 unique edits with multiple hook variations
• Create 4 storytelling video ads monthly using stock or AI-generated footage tailored to campaign objectives
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to ensure all edits align with brand guidelines and performance goals
• Implement feedback efficiently to optimize video performance across various social platforms
• Stay updated on the latest trends in social media advertising, especially within the health and wellness sector
• Manage project timelines to deliver high-quality edits within agreed deadlines

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience editing performance-driven social media ads, preferably for ecommerce brands
• Proficiency with industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)
• Strong storytelling skills and the ability to craft engaging narratives from UGC, stock, or AI-generated footage
• Familiarity with social media ad formats and best practices for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce multiple creative variations efficiently
• Experience in the health and wellness sector is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Reliable internet connection and availability for ongoing collaboration
